Work Hard Play Hard

Thank you so much for all of your kind comments and words on this series. As I stop by your p-blogs in return - I continue to be inspired by the talents that exists out there in this community I'm continuing on this theme originally urged by Simon on my previous blog and to end it on Father's Day this coming weekend.

Fatherhood have so far taught me unconditional love, helped me appreciate this miracle called life, opened up the meaning of "to serve" , showed me how to practice grace, and urged me to be still and know that someone is watching over me whenever I feel less than adequate.

Fatherhood also taught me to work hard and play hard. There's nothing like having a child to slap you with the real meaning of "responsibility." I know in a sudden why I wake up every morning to get to that office. But there's nothing like the sweet joy of hearing my daughter's spontaneous burst of laughter during play time that dissipates the tiredness in my bones when I return from the office. It is these moments that makes it all worthwhile.
