2 is 1 - Towards The LightPosted by {H} creatives (San Francisco Bay Area, United States) on 5 July 2007 in People & Portrait and Portfolio. Hello, Inspiration Circle! [ yup, that's you! ] As always, thank you all for visiting my p-blogs and the lovely kind words of encouragement. The critiques have also been helpful to improve my style and skills. This one is especially for eydryan who suggested in my last post that I "diversify" to another angle. And I will do so in the next few posts - Thanks, brah! The 9th installment of the series "Two Shall Become One". With all of your encouragements, though, I may just take this "going pro" thing more seriously. This shot was taken as the two couple (Yeny and Ethan) were rushing out towards the bright outside light. It was a perfect, albeit hot, day in Northern California. But there were definitely plenty of natural lights outside! It was a quaint wedding and a great fellowship amongst friends and family. Thank you all - the "Inspiration Circle" - for continuing to stop by. I will surely revisit your p-blogs here shortly! Cheers, friends!

Behrooz from Tehran, IranFantastic results after you did "diversify" the angle. I like the shadow of a man walking into light. 5 Jul 2007 8:00am tyan from Singapore, Singaporethis is a nice shot!Like a wedding in heaven!(the lighting..:))Reminds me of my own wedding...:p 5 Jul 2007 8:17am tengtan from Melbourne, AustraliaLovely backlit shot. Perhaps towards the brightness of a new married life. Interesting how tall the man is cf the bride. 5 Jul 2007 8:34am ColNed Pictures from Amersfoort, NetherlandsExcellent work love the use of the light here... 5 Jul 2007 8:36am HorseRotorVator from Newton, United StatesPerfect lighting! Super duper cool stuff pal! :) 5 Jul 2007 9:24am Soodabeh from Yazd, IranWOW! Excellent creative shot! I like the way they walk into light together! Life is this! Being together in light and dark! Good subject and effect. 5 Jul 2007 9:38am RoBeRt from Hawk Mountain, United StatesDum Dum Da Dumb ..... Dum Dum Da Dumb ...... oh sorry {H} I was just humming Here comes the Bride to myself ....LOL.... Carol Ann, step into the light Carol Ann ....lol.... ooops my bad was having a Poltergeist flashback ;) Wonerful photo as always {H} ....... You images always make me feel like we are experiencing the event live for ourselves ..... Thank You for all your kind words on my P-Blog as well , glad you enjoy my sense of humor :) 5 Jul 2007 9:50am Scene by Sharon from CanadaI agree with RoBeRt, your photos bring to life the moment in such a way that we feel like we are there in the moment - that is what photography is all about, capturing that feeling, and you have been able to do it in all of your photos - well done, {H}, well done! p.s. thanks for all the very kind comments you have made on my photos - I really appreciate your input... thanks :) 5 Jul 2007 10:22am ling from Malaysiai love this shot alot from your series! I love the glow around them (ok it's the light outside, but look at the guy's pants!! It's glowing!). From this shot, you can see how eager they are to start a new chapter of their life. Nice one man! 5 Jul 2007 10:40am Alfredo J. Martiz J. from Tokyo, JapanThis is just beautiful, excellent in every sense! 5 Jul 2007 11:13am Babul Bhatt from Bombay, IndiaActually I read somewhere before, Two should never try to become One. That is how one has to loose individuality, they should rather remain like two people living together and always compromising rather than deciding to become one! Excellent shot here... 5 Jul 2007 11:47am Gavin Hart from Ipswich, AustraliaThis is a really lovely shot. The contrast between the strong figure of the groom and the delicate form of the bride as in one sense, they go forth into the light and in another they go forth into life, is just great. The light glowing through the filminess of the bride's veil is beautiful. 5 Jul 2007 11:50am Bron from Canberra, AustraliaLove the details versus glowing mystery - another fine shot well done {H} 5 Jul 2007 12:55pm Saeed from A City, IranSalam my friend. it seems that you are fmiliar with the eastern (Islamic) cultures. But Iranians have their own and separated rich language named Parsi (Farsi). The B&W ceremony series are great and admireable. Many thanks. 5 Jul 2007 1:06pm June from Media, PA, United StatesI, too, agree with RoBeRt that you have an amazing ability to make me feel like I'm watching the event as if I am there.
