Hello, Inspiration Circle!
As always, thank you for each one of your comments, critiques and feedback - I do read, appreciate, and take each one to heart.
I decided to post a few more wedding pics due to prompting from fellow p-bloggers from Singapore, Anthony [this one's for you, pal! - Thx!] and tyan and from Atlanta, Ginnie. Hope the rest of you guys aren't bored because all of you have been so instrumental in fine tuning my portfolio and I really need your feedback on a few more wedding pics - maybe less the couples, more of the environment...and this time in post-processing that I coined "over-saturated sepia." B-)
This is a mansion in the Bay Area that is now used primarily for event functions such as weddings. Another couple friend got married there same day that my wife and I got married, except 6 years later - on June 3rd last year. So this one is for Felix and Priscilla!
I promise that I shall revisit your p-blogs in return, and thanks again for your support, comments, and critiques as I dream of becoming a "pro"! B-)
'Til then, Cheers! B-)

it's been kind of a weird day... i don't really know why or how, just kind of unusual. and seeing this photograph is a perfect addition to my surreal-feeling day. (not to mention today is currently your yesterday, from where i am.) but thanks for your comment, and for being a part of my crazy tuesday! your other photos are fantastic as well!
I love love love this shot. This will make a very good finale picture in a wedding album. It's sort of like telling you that it is a happy ending to a wonderful wedding day.
Amazing shot. keep it up. Sorry I haven't been dropping by. Was kinda busy lately, looking for a new place to stay. :)
11 Jul 2007 3:14am
Spectacular.
11 Jul 2007 3:56am
very nice angle and processing, well done H.
11 Jul 2007 4:03am
The backlighting has produced a remarkable haloed effect giving much impact to the significance of this "temple" of human bonding.
11 Jul 2007 4:06am
WooHoo, this looks fantastic! I love the way you shoot things at angles and they come out perfect! :)
11 Jul 2007 4:29am
excellent cloud burst
11 Jul 2007 4:44am
This has a lot of symbolism, H, because of the light from the background pouring in on this wedding place. It's like the Universe is welcoming this new couple.
11 Jul 2007 5:09am
Very intresting processing and angle - really like it. I agree with Ling in its placement in an album could be very effective. Nicely done and extremely creative!
11 Jul 2007 5:12am
certainly is a n interesing shot - i love the sky particularly!
11 Jul 2007 6:07am
What comes to mind here? Fiery passion -- perhaps the couple's love for one another shining out? A very imaginative approach to wedding pics; certainly outside the box and beautiful.
11 Jul 2007 6:23am
Love the angle and the over saturation...nicely done
11 Jul 2007 6:32am
Nice new direction {H} I love the shiny/matt foreground!
11 Jul 2007 6:41am

11 Jul 2007 7:08am
Great Shot,Henry.
11 Jul 2007 7:34am

11 Jul 2007 7:51am
Nice Shot! I love the sky.
11 Jul 2007 7:58am
Woh.. superb... give ppl the feeling that something great is coming...from the house... Something like a whole new beginning, esp with the 2 person walking out of the house! Are they the newly wed couple? Suit the theme for wedding! A whole new lease of life for every couple getting married in that location. A great ENCORE! :) U cannot stop now man... keep it going! you are doing great!
11 Jul 2007 8:27am
wonderfully different....
11 Jul 2007 8:42am
It's like the building is singing up to the heavens. Very nice.
11 Jul 2007 9:13am
Excellent composition.
11 Jul 2007 9:44am
wow - what an angle! cool shot - though I wish I could see the two people more clearly because they do give more meaning to this shot. Otherwise, its a great capture!
11 Jul 2007 9:49am
Lovely shot
11 Jul 2007 10:07am
Hmm. Well. I love the shot, BUT, I think it would work better either in B/W or, in regular color. Perhaps even over saturated a bit. To me, the sepia is a bit of a jarring change, especially after all the more standard b/w pics. The composition and subject are great though!
11 Jul 2007 10:14am
At first glance this looked very creepy to me but the more I looked at it the more I see the thought you wanted to to come across. I think that because it is different from your other shots it just took me a moment.
11 Jul 2007 10:20am
very dynamic shot! the color, lighting and the angle all work well together, excellent processing!
11 Jul 2007 10:35am

11 Jul 2007 3:49pm
What to say, so difficult to express the emotions which rise by seeing your pictures... It gives me the feeling you really do mean what you want us to experience in you pictures! - probably you won't get any clue of which emotions I experience by seeing your wonderfull blog...
But although this comment won't provide anyone insight in what I am trying to say, I just could not help myself typing these words you are reading right now... Well, in tis picture I really adore the way the light burstes his way true the magnicicent shaped formation of clouds... The way the couple at his time is bursting true the light... As they are camouflaged by the static building which brakes the overwelming light... The details which are visible true the reflection of light on the tarmac...
Really hope your dream of comming a pro comes true Kind regards, Lu mik spastiek'
By the way, excuse me for the spelling mistakes...

12 Jul 2007 3:58pm
Hey {H}, what can I say ? this is an excellent attempt to salvage an image that would hit the cutting floor. Great use duo-tones . Watch your highlight,a fill-in flash would have helped or bracketing and combine in your post-processing . well done.
12 Jul 2007 5:47pm
very very cool photo
12 Jul 2007 7:54pm
The aura provides a sense of irreality to the picture and the angle does the rest. Great !

17 Jul 2007 4:45am
It's a very intense effect used here but I think it works quite well. Also quite unique as part of a wedding series.
17 Jul 2007 6:51am
For me, this image in your wedding series is more like a dream and that makes it more emotionally powerful to my mind. It seems that many other viewers have been affected by it too. Excellent work! I like it a lot.
