Hello, Inspiration Circle!
Thanks as always for each one of your feedback, critiques and comments - I am especially grateful for the inspiration that I received in return as I re-visited your p-blogs! B-)
This continues the series of sepia experimentation along the lines of The Mansion, The Aisle and The Altar, The Embrace, and The Menu. Taken at the end towards Felix and Priscilla's wedding, this shot was captured right outside the "ballroom dance floor" as the bride, groom and guests were finishing up their dancing - and when I was taking a breath of fresh air. I had to squat on the floor on this one...lol...and use my own self as a human tripod. B-)
Oh, and this one's dedicated to a fellow p-blogger, Helgi (simply because her handle is "themoon.aminus3.com").

The balance is great between the angle and position of the building and the position of the moon in the image. As the others have said the moon is what makes the shot special - I just love the way those clouds in front of the moon add to it.

This is a hard shot to take given the circumstances. A 1/2 second night shot is hard not to get blurry, and here you did a fabulous job! The lights and the moon are great! There were no wherewolves on the loose right?:))

Wow, tricky exposure. I do a lot of 'human tripod' work because of sheer laziness in not carrying my tripod all the time, so I well know how tricky it can be sometimes. Good work!

Woh... i love the clouds around the moon...although seems small...
seeing ur foto give mi 2 feelings...
Divide the foto into 2 parts...
bottom: the lighted area... give a slight romantic feeling with the sepia effect.
top: The windows..(unlit-ed) together with the moon alone gives a eerie feeling...
Overall great effort in difficult lighting environment ;)

The lighting is amazing. The selective details around the lighting makes a nice effect. It's a beautiful photograph.
You asked whether I did photography. The answer is yes- In the last week, I think 4 or 5 of my comics were photo-based, from photos that I have made. It's something new I am trying. I'm inspired by you!

Given the camera set-up I think you got a reasonable image. At 1/2sec it doesn't get much better than this. What ISO did you use?

dude while i find this shot ok, you should really try to integrate people in your photos, or some human element, because that's what made your wedding/people photos so good. give us someone smoking outside in the moonlight and it'll increase in value tenfold ;) sorry if i annoy you with my constant nagging dude but i mean well :) having said that keep up the good stuff and most of all enjoy ;)
