My Dear Friends of the Inspiration Circle,
I firstly wanted to thank and appreciate everyone of you who have reached out and touched me with your thoughts and prayers. Some of you have done more than sustained me, you have encouraged my spirit to hold on to faith. I truly believe that as we go through this experience called life, there are individuals who are placed in certain moments of our lives seemingly by chance, but yet as we look back, it may be more than just mere happenstance.
I continue to draw strength from family and friends that I have been privileged to have known, virtually or otherwise. One of the anchors in this season of life that I had mentioned in my last post is my daughter, Keshia Evangeline. This picture is a tribute on how she sees life: through pink butterfly glasses. Everything is "rosey-colored" for her - maybe it's that innocence of looking at life that we often times lose as we grow older. We lose the sense of awe, of wonder, of being positive....and that life is also about having fun. We replace faith with fear, want with jealousy, joy with suspicions - the list goes on. But it is she, my daughter, that reminds me that all is not lost and dark...and it is images such as this that prompts me to think that there is always a reason for us to count the blessings, not the curses, and smile. Maybe that is why it is said that those with a heart like a child inherit the kingdom of God.
Maybe as I close this chapter in my life, however it may be, I will come to learn to put on "pink butterfly glasses." Of course, I meant this last statement allegorically, not a new fashion statement a la Bono, as one might think. B-) I just have to believe that despite all, there is a purpose behind every thing that occurs in life.
May each of you, my dear AM3 friends, find that anchor in your lives that reminds you of how life can actually be. And thank you once again for your words of encouragements.
I 'm sure that have missed many wonderful images that all of you have captured during my haiatus, but I shall revisit each of you shortly...although it may take some time for me to go back to regular p-blogging. B-)
Until "chance" allows us to meet beyond the keyboards and monitors...
Cheers'nBlessings, {H}

Dear H, I have missed your posts, and I have been concerned for you. Keshia is a beautiful little girl. As you open this "new chapter" in your life, try to hold on to the faith of a child, knowing that you will be given all you need to get through whatever difficulty you are currently experiencing. I will continue to keep you in my prayers, H. May you and Keshia have a blessed and peace-filled Christmas.

A Reason, a Season, or a Lifetime
People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. When you figure out which one it is, you will know what to do for each person.
When someone is in your life for a REASON . . . It is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend, and they are! They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrong doing on your part, or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realise is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered. And now it is time to move on.
When people come into your life for a SEASON . . . Because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They bring you an experience of peace, or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons; things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person, and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.
