My Precious - Life Innocence

My Dear Friends of the Inspiration Circle,

Thank you all for your kind comments - your words have become a therapeutic encouragement of sorts through this season in my life. Many of you I have only known virtually - yet seemed like a lifetime. I still do hope that someday an AM3 Global Conference of sorts can truly happen so that I may be able to meet you face to face. And though my post are infrequent and erratic these days, I do enjoy the times that I am able to pass by all of your sites in return. Some images lift me up, others are thought provoking, while still yet a few are just beautiful captures of life unraveled.

Inspiration does come from all of you - in words and images - and for that I am grateful.

This shot is another capture of one of my true inspirations - one that is closest and dearest to me, as some of you know B-) - my daughter, Keshia Evangeline. It's image like this that make me want to take more of life, albeit difficult at times. I often ponder what it would be like to forever be a kid...carefree, innocent, pure and without ill-intent.

Later that day, Keshia told me, "Daddy, I wish I can be a fairy, so I can really have wings and fly over those yellow flowers today." Out of innocence came those words - and she meant it. The reply that managed to come out of my mouth was: "Yes, sweetheart, wouldn't it be nice? Daddy would love to do that, too." Unbeknownst to her, in my heart I also said a prayer, "O, Lord, how I truly would love to grow wings and fly across these troubled waters?" In that innocence, I am reminded of an ancient promise given to those who wait: "They spread their wings and soar like eagles - they run and don't get tired - they walk and don't lag behind." I just felt I couldn't wait any longer. But another gaze upon this picture - and with melancholic warmth in my eyes - I said to myself, "Maybe just a little while longer."

Here's wishing all of you many great returns as we "leap" through this year of 2008, my dear AM3 friends. And may the desires and expectancy of your heart be made real...really soon.

I apologize again for my infrequent p-blogging, but do give me some time and I will surely visit your site in return. Thank you, again.

Cheers'nBlessings, B-)
